FireAlert Remote Control (Tasker)

There are no translations available.

(Tasker Dialog)

The remote control interface of FireAlert is a way to enable/disable the app or set the volume mode depending on any state of your mobile or situation. For example you can disable or set FireAlert into silent when you are at work. Or you can schedule FireAlert on this way. And everything automaticly!

How does it work? Tested is everything on Tasker 1.2.1u1, but there are may other apps in the Play Store, which are able to control the system.

First you create a profile like 'Work'. Depending on a WLAN Network or GPS position the mobile will notice you are on work. As action you have to create a task you want execute when the mobile notify you are on work. To create a action for FireAlert create a new task like

Task -> Misc -> ActionIntent

You should get the following dialog to make the setup. Here are just three fields important.

Action -> de.hoernchen.android.firealert.TASKER

Extra -> MODE:value (values explained at bottom)

Target -> Broadcast Receiver

Available modes for the extra field are

enable -> activates FireAlert
disable -> disable FireAlert
silent -> set the volume mode to silent
quiet -> set the volume mode to quiet
normal -> set the volume mode to normal

The last thing you have to do after you setup your profiles and task, is to activate the Tasker support in FireAlert in general settings.

Attation, all values you enter into the Action Intent dialog are case sensetive! If you have any question, just sent me a email. If you need help on seting up profiles in Tasker, please have a look at their website.
